Default Dispenser Problem
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: rsw2400e
Age: 5 - 10 years

My front door dispenser has stoped all together. it seems like no power. How do you take off the front dispenser to look at the switches and computer board?

Pry gently and slowly so as not to break the plastic molding. Pry round and round. The screws should be accessible when you get it off.
Here's a diagram of your dispenser. rsw2400e Parts List

What would cause no power at the dispenser? Do you have a wiring diagram?
Should I get 110v readyings at the dispenser switches? Or is the power transformed down to low voltage.

Thanks for the help.

The wiring diagram for your fridge should be with the fridge.

There are a few place that the manufacture will put them.

Look behind the kick plate for an envelope stuck to the bottom of the fridge or in the control panel in the fridge.

Check the back of the fridge also.

There may be a break in one of the wire in the door.

Check to make sure that the child lock is not on.

If you have the last two digit of your model number you can bring up a detail breakdown of your model that also has the wiring diagram.
