Default Dispenser/Lights Not Working
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: SSS25KFPA
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have noticed several other people with this same problem but did not see if there was a resolution. I have a GE Select S/S Model # SSS25KFPA. The ice maker is working, but the door dispenser does not work at all - no lights or anything. This has happened in the past, but it would start working again in a couple of hours. I replaced the water filter with the plug, but that didn't help. I have looked on the back of the unit for an electrical diagram so I could test the circuits and see if the dispenser unit was receiving power, but I could not find one. I did find what looked like the master control board behind a panel, but that did not look very DIY-friendly and I did find the solenoids mentioned in other posts, but I do not think that is the problem because the entire dispenser is not working, not just the water. Any suggestions?

It is likely the mother board that you found that is causing the problem.

This board supplies the voltage to the dispenser.

Here is a link to your fridge model SSS25KFPA.
