Default Dislodged drip pan
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 363.58572890
Age: 5 - 10 years

I recently pulled my refrigerator out to clean. Now I can see the "drip pan" (evaporative pan) just sitting on the floor underneath. How do I get the drip pan back up onto the refrigerator?

As long as the drain tube emptys into it it will work where it is but if you remove the cardboard cover on the back or the front kick plate on the front you can reach it to move it around and set it where it is supposed to be. It's not fastened down, it just sits there.

Thank you for that information about the drip pan not being attached. But, I don't know where the drain is, so I don't know where to position the pan underneath. Is there a way to tell me where to position the drip pan, without my pulling the enormous refrigerator out from the wall by myself to look for the drain? Thanks!

Through the back is the only way to reach mine. It has rollers on it that make it fairly easy to pull out. It would require help but you could pull it out enough to tilt it back a few inches, block it up so it doesn't crush your arm. If you can see under there you could pour water into the top end of the drain tube and see if the water goes into the tray. Move it around till it does.
