Can anyone tell me what positions the DIP switches on the electronic control (cold control) for an undercounter Jenn-aire refrigerator should be in. I installed a new one and it is made by Marvel Industries. It has 1,2,4 and 8 on the switches and 1 is the only one in the on position. The refrigerator freezes everything in it. It says on the top of the control to combine the switches to adjust temperature. Are they in the correct position or not. Thanks for any help in advance!!:

Can you please supply the model number to your fridge.

The switches should be set in the same postion as the old control.

It may be a thermistor that is causing your problem.

Check the resistance of the thermistors.

As the temperature goes down the resistance goes up.

If the temperature is 32 the resistance will be 5.6.

The thermistor should be in the air vent where the air flows from the freezer to the fridge section.
