Brand: General Electric
Model Number: PFS22SISBSS
Age: 1 - 4 years

Digital panel in upper fridge went off yesterday. Have only been in home a year and the original owners did not leave manual .GE Profile Mod#PFS22SISBSS refridgerator freezer.Food in freezer is getting soft.Can anyone help? Marte

There is an electronic board that is located at the back of the fridge the controls the fridge and it has likely failed.

It is number 801 on the breakdown.

Thanks for the tip!

I was having the exact same problem. I unscrewed the panel, reseated all of the plugs on the board, and the groundwire, plugged the unit back into the wall, and it's been working fine since! (this was yesterday...) I may eventually have to replace the board, but for the moment, just knowing where to look helped immensely! Try this simple fix before you blow 100 bucks on a new board!
