Well, it must not have been the bi-metal thermostat because the refrigerator temperatue is rising and there is frost build up in the freezer. I am almost sure it worked the first two nights but it did not defrost last night. I will have to use the hair dryer this morning or the food will be lost.

I guess that leaves the control board?

I took the covers off in the freezer and it was totally frosted over. No frost cycle for maybe two nights I bet.

Go to partselect and order a new adaptive defrost board.

Thanks for the help with my fridge. After replacing the board it seems to be working just fine. I appreciate the help and the information this site provides.
