My Sears Coldspot fridge stopped making ice for the icemaker. It starting slowing down and some of the ice cubes were hollow. I have rolled it out and checked water is going to the fridge from the wall. I have checked schematics and think it could be the valve solenoid connecting the water from the wall to the tube running up the back to the icemaker.

If the valve is not opening this could be the problem.

With a meter you can check to see if power is getting to the valve.

If power is getting to the valve the check the valve for continuity.

Here is a link to your fridge model 10678202891.
