ice maker/crushed/cubed/water control panel acted up and would shut down compressor and stall unit when any button was pushed on control panel.
i disconnected wiring at door hinge panel so refrigerator would keep running
now compressor will stall out intermittently and a ticking noise will come from mother board. light bulb inside unit will also dim with each tick from board
unit will then start losing chill until ticking stops and compressor kicks back on
sometime hours will go by before unit starts up again. meanwhile all food goes
warm. please help

You have a problem with your mother board and it will have to be replaced.
