My crushed ice is working, but cubed ice is not. Has anyone else had this problem with Whirlpool Gold (GS5SHAXNL00)?Refrigerator is less than 2 years old.

Your problem could be in the electronic board or is could be the solinoid that changes the despencer from crushed to cubed.

I have the same problem. so not only does it NOT switch from cube to crush, but the lock and light buttons do not work either. it still does make ice and dispense water though, but sometimes I want crushed.

the recommended solution is to change the control panel. but thats about $130.

I'd like to know if you fixed yours.
