ordered new support part #24043701. look correct. old support has what looks like a push pin in main support stud. any easy method of getting this pin to pull out to release stud. i thought of drilling old pin, but thought i would try this first.

To release this type of stud you push the pin through the support and then remove the stud.

The pin will be stuck in the insulation and you will be able to get it with needle nose pliers or two small flat blade screwdrivers.
