Question Cosmetic parts for refrigerators
Brand: Kenmore

I have a secondhand Kenmore fridge that appears to be missing several parts on the interior and exterior - maybe a 'grill' at the bottom; at least one shelf, a partition in the door - are these parts readily available at this site, and how hard are they to install? (I can of course stick a shelf in there - just wondering about the other things)

...I know I need to quit bein' lazy and go find the model number...

If they dont sell them from the site directly you might be introuble. I would also check the almighty ebay though.

Unless it is really old, I think the grill would be easy to get. I mean that is the piece that gets damaged regularly from moving the fridge around and cleaning the kitchen. I don't know about anybody else but mine gets smacked whenever the grandkids are playing.

D'oh!! Thanks ss1129! I can't believe I didn't think about looking on eBay. *smacks self in head*

After doing a cursory search, the availability of pieceparts on eBay is not as many as I had hoped; but if I'm patient I may be able to collect the things I need from there.

LOL @ sinamin - indeed, between pets and kids and clumsy adults, it's a wonder any of the front of my fridge is left.

Since you ladies seems to be quite handy around electrical appliances I'll bet you can sew a stitch or 2 too. So why not make a skirt to cover any missing parts? Me, I could thread a needle but that's all I can do.

I would just make a new shelf out of wood, maybe walnut or mahogany...make it all fancy looking and tell people it was a custom option.
