Everything is working (internal lights, freezer etc) apart from the touch pad for the Electronic Monitor and diagnostic system on the freezer door. The panel is dead with no lights and the ice cubes/crushed buttons inactive. Does this mean complete panel replacement or is there some less expensive internal component to replace?

You will have to check and see where you are losing power to the board.

There may be a broken wire that is going to the board.
