i replaced the fan and the fan doesnt kick on, is there some sort of capacitor which may need replacing or could it be the whole mother board needs replacing.?

ge model gss25wgmc

i see on the parts diagram there are a few electrical parts which could be the source of why the condensor fan isnt working... the mother board (801), a capacitor (729) an overlaod (735) and a ptcr (733)...can any of these be ruled out as not having any effect on why the new condensor fan isnt working.. otherwise i could replace all 4 parts and have all new electrics.

The capacitor, the overload and the PTCR are for the compressor.

It is your mother board that will need to be replaced.

Here is a link to your fridge model gss25wgmc.
