Default Condenser Fan Replacement Questions
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: RS2630SH
Age: 1 - 4 years

The condenser fan motor is occasionally noisy and sometimes fails to start. I ordered part number PS931410 ASSY SUPPORT-MOTOR UNIT;AD,-,- (ASSY SUPPORT-MOTOR UN) however the assembly received did not include the fan. Should it have? It appears it should in the parts diagram. What is the recommended way to remove the fan from the old motor? Once off, do I just press it on the new shaft or does it need to be glued? Last question if needed... What glue woud you recommend? Thanks in advance.

The old fan should just pull off of the shaft.

It should just push on to the new shaft.

There is a spring clip on the center of the fan this is all that holds the fan on. No glue required.

No the fan does not come with the motor.
