 Compressor quits running ! Brand: Frigidaire Model Number: PLHS267ZA Age: 1 - 4 years
OK , This problem started after I noticed the fridge and freezer quit working. The compressor has already been replaced under warranty 2 years ago. Unplugged unit for about 30 minutes and everything worked fine for 2 weeks .Problem came back , 30 minutes did'nt work this time, But after an hour I plugged it back up and everything works fine ! I don't know if this will help ,but when the compressor quits ,so does the water dispenser. I don't know how they are tied in together !
Alright 6 hours later ,it appears that the compressor is not shutting off. Could it be overheating causing it to shut off ? Is there a shutoff feature ? I can turn it off by shutting down the temperature controls , But as soon as I turn one of the controls up the compressor stays on !
