Default Compact Fridge/Freezer Won't Work
Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: MCBR360S
Age: 1 - 4 years

I was wondering if anybody could help me...I had my compact 3.6 cu. ft. Magic Chef mini-fridge working fine yesterday but it was angled on one of my couches outside temporarily. When I unplugged it today and went to move it inside, I noticed it leaked something on the couch. When I tried to plug it back in today, it doesn't work and the only that happens is the compressor in the back gets really hot. I've tried to unplug and plug it back in but it doesn't cool at all. Can anyone help me diagnose the problem and if so, how it could be fixed?? Thanks for your help!

How long was the fridge on its side?

Can you please verify your model number?

The fridge was probably tilted at a 45 degree angle or so for no more than 24 hours. The fridge is a MCBR360S.

MC Appliance product ----- MCBR360S ----

Thanks! I don't know why it wont cool, the compressor just stays really hot and nothing happens...

It is possible that the oil from the compressor moved up the line.

Let the fridge set upright for at least 24 hours then try it again.
