I have a Haier compact frig and while defrosting the freezer and removing ice, a wire came off. I do not know if the wire was under the freezer or actually in the freezer.

Any ideas? And yes, I've checked the company website but no luck.

Is this wire attached to the control?

If so it is the sensing bulb or capillary tube.

Make sure that it does not get damaged or the fridge will not shut off when it should.

Where did you purchase this brand of fridge?

We bought it through Office Depot catalog for my bosses office.

One end of the wire is connected to the control settings box -- the other was connected to the freezer.
