I have a double sided frigidaire fridge. The fridge side keeps freezing even when i turn the contro down. Any ideas?

Check and see if the air flow door is closing.

Does the compressor shut off at some point?

For a more detail breakdown of your fridge you will need the last two digit of your model number.
