I have a cabin by a lake. I bought a new refridgator that won't work properly because the cabin is not heated when I'm not there. The kitchen is finished so garage units like the "Gladiator" won't work. I need my fridge to operate down to about 40 - 45 degrees ext temp. I was told there are conversion kits for frigidaire that solve this problem. Any info? And do they make kits for other brands?
Thanks
Dave

Hi,

The kits I have seen are a small little heater that get put inside the cold control box. I have only seen them for the frigidaire models too.

We have a tech over at ApplianceJunk.com that does a ton of frigidaire work and he maybe able to help answer your question better then I can.
