Clicking sound from fridge for about a week. Saturday I opened the freezer to find that it was not cooling and the items began to thaw. The fridge seemed to be ok.
Now the freezer is freezing and the fridge is not cooling. I have scheduled a service call, but they are unavailalbe until 8/29/07. Can't live w/o fridge.
Any suggestions as what may be causing this?

Sound like it by be the relay that is clicking.

It could be the defrost control.

Can you please verify your model number?

Model: MSD2732GRS

We have replaced the overload relay and the capacitor. The unit seems as though it is trying to turn on. The clicking noise happens every few minutes.
Any other things that we can check that may be causing this?

If the clicking is coming from the compressor area and you have replaced the relay the compressor may have failed.
