I need to change the appearance of a ge monogram fridge from white to black. I am putting wood panels on doors, the problem is with ice/water dispenser. The salesman @ parts select seems to think it is a big under taking that is being able to replace all the right parts exactly. What are your feelings. Will I need any special tools. Thanks

To change the color of the dispenser you are looking at a lot of parts and a fair amount of expense.

You will have to take the dispenser completely.
