Cool Buzzing in the control panel
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: ksrs25fgbt02
Age: 5 - 10 years

a buzzing noise ( like something is shorting out) is coming from the control panel box. It buzzes about every 2-4 hours and if your listening to the radio or tv you can hear it or visualize the buzz. I suspect it is the PC Board Filter Indicator control. Does anyone know what else it could be or the most common replacement part within the control panel?
Thanks
stinthum

Is the buzzing is coming from the control inside the fridge or the control panel on the freezer door?

This sound could also come from the defrost timer.

It has a motor in it that could be getting worn.
