Hi,

I have a Kenmore Despenser door not working properly and I determined that a tab is broken on the up under and on the right side, such that the door hinge nail will not stay in place. After doing some research on the web, found out that the entire despenser housing part is not sold. I don't really want to pay $500 for a new freezer door and I was wondering if anyone has found a way to either get a the housing part for replacement or has found a way to fix a broken tab??? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. The Refrig is a Kenmore 106.56539400, but I also know is was made by Whirlpool.

Try calling Sears Parts and Service to see if they have a fix for your problem.
