Cool BEKO drips
Brand: Other
Model Number: TLS480
Age: 1 - 4 years

Can anyone explain to me please why water is always dripping from a pipe located at the back of my fridge right above the compressor. It does not need defrosting and works fine except for that problem. I have to put a little plastic container there to catch the drips, but this needs emptying every few days which is a pain especially as I am going away on holiday soon and don really want to leave it like that.
Many thanks

What you are seeing is the drain pipe for the defrost water.

The pipe should be in a pan located under the fridge.

The heat from the compressor evaporates the water.

Smile Beko drips

Hi, Thanks for your reply and information you gave about the drips, could you tell me is the pan a plastic sort of dish, only I kept that in the cupboard because I could'nt figure out where it went!! Now I'm feeling stupid I will try and fit it instead of the old tuperware container I have there at the moment.

Thank you very much sheila56

Some of the drip tray sit on top of the compressor.

Some sit under the fridge on the condenser coils.

Smile Beko drips

Many thanks for all your help with the problem of drips from my Beko fridge. I have now fitted the driptray, it clips in above the compressor and hopefully will now work as it should. Thanks again.
