The door open beeper beeps every few minutes - alot of fun when you are trying to sleep. Purchasing a new fridge after Christmas, but may go insane in the meantime. How can I disable that function?

You should be able to bypass the sensor by removing the two wires that plug into it and twist them together and tape it.

It shows you have two. If the diagrams don't help try tracking down the beep or look for a door switch that doesn't operate a light.
