Bad Whirlpool frig compressor?

Hello I have an 8-year-old Sears 21cubic foot (Whirlpool) top freezer and the compressor is rattling loose in its steel container.
Two years ago the compressor started rattling only when the compressor cycled off.
Now the compressor is rattling all the time the compressor is on but still cooling well.

How difficult is it to replace the compressor.

It's not job a do it yourselfer can do and it's not cheap. You have to capture the freon, cut tubes and re solder them and recharge the system. HVAC certification.

Use it till it stops if you can put up with the noise and be ready to by a new unit at a moments notice.
