Dispenser has finally quit altogether. Will not dispense ice or water, and light will not work. Acts like the whole dispenser is dead even thought the lock feature is unlocked. Sometimes jiggling the ice chute or flapper door to ice chute will restore the entire dispensing unit, but it ususally only lasts for one or two dispenses-then it stops working again.

There is no obvious way to take the trim panel off of the front of this unit. Any advice on how to remove the trim to better see the micro-switches inside of the dispenser would be appreciated. Thank you.

Look along the bottom edge of the trim and see if there are slots where you can stick a screwdriver.

Pry out until bottom edge releases then push up on the trim to release the top.
