Default Attaching refrigerator door water line?
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.9505782
Age: More than 10 years

We were given a Coldspot refrigerator with the doors off. It has a water outlet and ice dispenser on outside freezer door. The water line in the bottom left pivot point for the freezer door has a plastic water line that is no longer attached to the frame. Both ends off water line are cut at an angle but appear to be made that way. Or should this be a continuous line with no junction? Can anyone help me attach the line and hang the door?

It is normal to have a junction in the line there for door removal etc. I don' think they should be cut on a slant. Someone probably in a hurry. Cut them straight and put a new junction on.

I later found the junction running along the front of frig about 5 inches away from pivot. Looks like I'm going to spliced a new line to the old line barely showing at bottom of door and pull old line out through the spicket on the door to bring up new line with proper existing junction. New function. Going to go see what putting new line all through ought would en tell.
