Exclamation Any Help??? Woodchuck??? Anyone???
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: gsh25kgrebb
Age: 1 - 4 years

Ok, I checked out the water valve and it ohm'd ok. I disconnect the water line under the doors, (so it has already gone thru the chiller behind the crisper door) push the button and get water. So..... the switch is working, the water valve is working and the line isnt frozen in chiller. Is it possible for the line to freeze inside freezer door section? If so how do I access it to defrost? And any idea as to why all of a sudden this would happen? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

Just a thought or two. Yours doesn't seem to have a solenoid in the door to open the water so maybe if you can put some air pressure to the last junction before it goes into the door and push the water dispenser at the same time. see what happens. I don't think the water could freeze in the door but what do I know. Try a hair dryer near the dispenser as that is the part closest to the cold. You could also send some warm air up the hinge area where the line goes in.
