Hi I'am new to this site so far it looks helpful.I have an Amana side by side and the freezer wont freeze anything on the top half.I disconnected the fan and it has 32 for a resistice reading.The problem is I don't have any idea what that means?Is that good or bad?Any other suggestions would be great.

The resistance of the motor is fine.

Does the fan run?

Is there an ice build up on the evaporator coils?

If there is ice on the coils the cooling will be less efficient.

If there is ice on the coils there is a defrosting problem.
