Evap fan not blowing. Condensor fan is. Remove fan (replaced two years ago) and hot wire it...it works. Follow wires from fan to Adaptive defrost circuit boardat lower front of fridge. Not producing electricity to fan. Replaced it with genuine Maytag part #12050506. Unplug, install part, plug back in--evap does not spin. Hot wired evap fan, put fridge back together and it cools, but why can't I have evap fan work in unison with fridge? Defrost works...no iced coils. Compressor operates normal. Fridge is cool and freezer is making ice with my red neck wiring. Stumped in Michigan. |
