Ice at times wasn't completely frozen and the ice would fuse together to from a unusable block of ice---recently the flow of water became less and less forming small elongated cubes of ice--the ice cubes also became cloudy and bad tasting--I have removed the ice maker module assembly and need some direction on my next move-

Sound like the problem is water supply and not ice maker. Do you have a water dispenser? Hows that water. Disconnect water at inlet valve and see if it's blocked going into the valve and check the quality.
