Default AMANA...New icemaker...no water going into dispenser???

Model Number: sqd25nb2w
Age: More than 10 years
Hi

I just received the new icemaker that i had ordered through this site. i installed it and put everything back together and i get no water into the ice dispenser. Does the ice maker have to get up to temperature before it actually starts to work or do i maybe have a defective part???

Was wondering if anyone can help please.

Yes the freezer has to be 5 degrees or below before the ice maker will work.
