I have an Amana ref/freezer, side/side, & want to peplace the ice maker, part #
ps172234. I got the screws out, but can't get to the back of it to see how to disconnect the wires. There doesn't seem to be enough slack in the wires to turn it so I can see how it is connected.How do I disconnect the wiring, & should I unplug the power before doing this?

Can you please provide the model number to your fridge?

There is a locking tab on the wire connector.
