I have a Amana fridge thats about 3 years old. Recently it has been making a noise at the same time the fan turns on. The noise happens about every 5-10 minutes. I took the back panel off and it seems like it's coming from what I assume is the compressor the large black round object with copper lines. The noise lasts about 7 seconds and the fan continues to run for another 20 seconds then shuts off. I don't hear any noise coming from the fan. The fridge seems to be working ok but the noise is annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the you may have a bad relay and overload on the compressor.
