Hi all, I have a Amana ars2663aw side by side that has stopped cooling. The evaporator fan runs all the time. I have verified that the defrost timer is working correctly, and the defrost thermostat will turn the fan off when I apply a little heat to it. What I have noticed is that only the first three or four coils of the evaporator have frost on them. The rest of the evaporator doesn't feel cold or have any frost. Does this sound like maybe a low charge problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

pull the toe plate off and make sure the condenser is clean and has good air flow.

If this is ok.

Yes this is a sealed system problem.
Most time is leak in the sealed system or a restriction....

Tech will have to put gages to find that out...
