Default Amana ARB2205CW
Brand: Amana
Model Number: ARB2205CW
Age: 1 - 4 years

I believe this frig is two years, the freezer works great, temp is -5 degrees, however the frig is 86 deg. Oh it is a bottom freezer, upright! I have opened the panel at the back of the frig, there is a gate there and nothing else, I am not getting any air flow there, looked down the vent with a bore scope and could see nothing. Can't find any defrost controls or warmers, etc. WHAT"S THE PROBLEM, & how do I fix it???

It may be the evaporator fan motor is not working.

It is located in the freezer section of your fridge.

Cold air falls. So if it is not working the cold air will not be forced up into the fridge.

Here is link to your fridge model ARB2205CW.

the fan in the freezer is working, I see no other fan or panel that may hide a fan! in the "controls" diagram item # 12 timer defroster is not mounted to anything, has four wires "mo" to comm=120vac, 1-2=123vac, 1-4=.069vac; is this a problem? the # on the part is "TMDJ833ZK9"! it is humming as though it is working.

In the freezer there is a grill that covers the fan and a panel that covers the evaporator.

Check to see if there is an ice build up on these coils not allowing the cold air to the fridge section.
