Water leaks out of freezer compartment. When Automatic defrost happens the water that drips down into the trought freezes, water has no place to go except to leak out onto the floor.I cleared the drain line, and checked the timer and thermostat. There are 2 heaters in this unit, one for the top coils and one for the bottom coils. The top heater just about glows.while the bottom heaterglows very bright.Could the top heater be defective and causing the problem.
Thank You for any Help,
A. Gentile

It sounds like the tube that is hook to the trough has a blockage. Run a long pipe cleaner through the hose.

This should fix your problem.

Here is a link to your fridge model RSW2400CAE.

I already cleared the tube. What I want to know is if the heater on the top coils is bad since it doesn't light up as bright as the bottom heater.Could this cause the leaking problem due to the freeze up.
Thank You A. GEntile
