Brand: Amana
Model Number: SBDE20S4SW
Age: Please select

Oh please help! I have an Amana side-by-side refrigerator who's alarm goes off intermittantly (usually in the middle of the night)....it is also freezing EVERYTHING in the refrigertor despite the freeer and refrigerator controls set at the lowest (warmest) settings....I know nothing about this refrigerator...please help...I need sleep

The alarm is going off because of the temperature not being right.

There is a problem with the electronic control or the thermistors.

If you have an ohm meter you will be able to use the tech sheet to test the fridge.

If you don't have a meter you should have someone in to fix your fridge.

The tech sheet is located in the control panel or behind the kick plate.

Well I have replaced the theristor in the freezer and I have now replaced the High voltage board. I made sure that the coils weren't frozen yet my fridge is getting down to 20 with the fridge setting on the lowest setting. I am out of Ideas
Help
