Wiring for the new dual infinte switch part #12002125 is as follows for Jenn Air
electric cook top model #CCE3401B.
TURN OFF POWER TO UNIT AT FUSE OR BREAKER BOX FIRST:
New switch, black line wire goes to terminal P1.
Red line wire if piggy backed together must be seperated and the red that is the line side wire goes to terminal P2, the other red wire that goes to the burner goes to terminal 2 you will need to install a new 90 degree crimp connector on this wire or which ever wire you seperate.
The terminal marked 4a goes to the one of the element wires, the terminal marked 4 goes to the other element wire.
The terminal marked S2 goes to the indicator light (the light around the knob), the jumper wire provided with the switch goes to terminal P1and S1 if you do not use this jumper the indicator light around the knob will not operate. |
