Default Whirlpool Wall Oven Won't Heat
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: RBS245PDB
Age: 5 - 10 years

All the controls appear the function. Clock displays time and the oven will go thru the preheat cycle but the elements do not heat. Temp does not increase either.. The Self Clean cycle does not work eventhough the display show the self clean cycle. No error codes are displayed. Do appears to latch correctly too. Tried resetting the breaker as well. Any help would be appreicated..

Will the broil element come on if it is set to broil?

If nothing is working then it could be an open thermal disk.

The last time you used the oven did it over heat?

If the broil element works check the resistance of the bake element.

You should have between 16 and 24 ohms depending on the wattage of the element.

Here is a link to your range model RBS245PDB.

If you check the model number you will find to more digits.

This will give you a better parts list.
