Ever hear about a range catching fire during a selfclean cycle?
Caught on fire first time it was tried. No evidence of grease or anything else in the oven.
The range is completely destroyed. Unfortunately is is just out of warranty.
Any comments?

We talked to Whirlpool and said that the user did something wrong.

Whirlpool said it was operator error.
I do not see how that can be.

If they did not see the range I don't know how they can say that.
