I had a repairman replace the heating element on a ceramic stove top. After the repair was completed and the power turned back on, he received an error code E 1 F 2 for the oven. HE checked the power cable for the key pad , but key pad will not display anything other than the E 1 F 2.Any suggestions, as the repairman is lost.

There is a problem with the cable to the control.

Check the keypad connector for a firm connection.

Press the cancel button. If the error code returns after 60 seconds the keypad will need to be replaced.

I replaced the key pad and the unit is working.The connector cable was cracked. Thanks.
