Default Whirlpool Electric Oven
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: RBS305PD
Age: 5 - 10 years

I ran the self-cleaning function on the oven the other night. The next day the lower element and broil element did not work. The control panel seems to function fine and there are no error codes. I checked the elements they seem Ok. I checked the temperature sensor and it registered 1100 ohms. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

there is a thermo fuse on rear of oven that will cut the power to both bake and broil elements

Must the oven be pulled out to get to the thermofuse?

Is there a way to test the thermofuse?

Once the oven is out, is there a test for the sensor?

I tested it with an ohm meter and it was open so I am assuming it is bad. I would think it is normally closed and when it overheats is opens up.
