Question What is F2 trouble code?
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: WW272108
Age: 5 - 10 years

What does the "F2" trouble code mean?

Repairman wants $90 just to look!? WTF, doesn't he already know what it means?

This is Jenn-Air over/under range model # WW272108. Lower oven works fine. Upper oven intermittantly (over last 3 months) displays "F 2" trouble code, followed by continuous on-off beeping sound until the CANCEL button is pushed.

Thank you for help.

The F2 means that the sensor or the clock could be faulty.

You can test the oven sensor with an ohm meter.

The resistance should be 1100 ohm at room temperature, which is about 75 degrees.

If the sensor tests OK then it is the clock/control that will have to be replaced.

Here is a link to your wall oven model WW27210B.

I will test the oven sensor resistance and proceed from there. Thank you.
