Default Wall Oven not working
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: CWE900
Age: 5 - 10 years

My Wall oven went out on Saturday, I could adjust the clock, the self timers and the Cancel Button worked. But I could not turn on the Broiler (no beep), nor the Bake button (no beep and display). I removed the Clock assembly, then reinstalled it. Now the Cancel button does not work (No beep), the Broiler button still does not work, I can adjust the clock, the Bake button allows me to turn on the oven and adjust the temp., then it will go out again.

I am suspecting the Clock assembly, but I would like to check other parts just to be sure before I spend $206. I have no schematic diagram on the oven. Could the Relay board be the problem?

Thanks for assisting. By the way if the clock assembly is the problem, you sure have saved me from purchasing a new oven. I can not thank you folks enough.

Your problem is the clock.

When the clock becomes none responsive parts inside it have failed.

Here is a link to your oven model CWE900.
