Default Wall oven comes on when temp. selector off
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: F2C5ON1 ?
Age: More than 10 years
Hello our wall oven came on for no reason through the night.The temp. dial was in the off position.Ended up turning off main power noticed the bottom element is a bit shoddy (burnt at the connector)coul this element be the problem???

It is not likely the element that is giving you the trouble.

It is likely the contact in the control that are welded together.

Can you please verify your model number?
