Default Two ovens same problem
Brand: Amana
Model Number: arg 7302ww
Age: 5 - 10 years

My girlfriend and I both have amana self cleaning ovens. Same model.
Her oven would come up to full heat. The PreHeat light would go on, then, the temp would drop and not go back to set temp. I thought it was the sensor, so I replace it. Same problem.

Now out of the blue, my oven is doing the exact same thing. Help times two!
Thanks Bill.

It could be the clock/control.

It may be a bad wiring connection.

Here is a link to your oven model arg7302ww.

Smile two ovens same problem

Thank you Sheila,
That sounds very resonable. I was thinking that it was the igniter, but in both cases, the igniter lights up fine.
Regards
Bill

Default clock control?

Does the clock control have a different name? I can't find it in the parts list.
Thanks
Bill

The clock/control is number 5 on the back splash.

They are calling it an Eaton KRC,gas. The part number is PS79266.

I can't say that that is your problem.
