Question Turkey just got baked
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: SVE47100B
Age: 5 - 10 years

Just finished cooking turkey yesterday and heard a pop in the oven compartment and noticed a small flame at the back of the oven. I turned off the power to the range and then removed the bottom element after noticing obvious burnout. I taped the ends of the connectors and turned the power back on, hoping to finish some cooling on the range top. Now the fan runs continuously, none of the controls function and the display is blank. What will I have to replace besides the obvious bake element?

Check your fuse panel, it sounds like one of the fuse for the range opened.

You may have to replace the control also.

Here is a link to your range model SVE47100B.
