Default Touchpad (or relay?) doesn't work
Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: 3468VRV
Age: More than 10 years

The control panel has a part some call the touchpad, others call the relay. This part controls several things, including the temperature of the oven. When the part is malfunctioning at its worst there is a constant beeping sound (the panel displays an f1 error message) which necessitates cutting off the electricity to the unit. Even when it is not beeping, the temperature at which the oven is set is about 200 or more degrees below where it should be. So if the temperature is set for 375, the oven thermometer we bought and placed inside reads 200 or 225. Even at 450, the thermometer doesn't go much above 250.

I would like to replace this part but am not sure which part to order. Anyone know?

Many thanks.
